I've seen the kid in practice and can tell you he's a very accurate passer. What happens when the lights coming on and the bullets are flying for real.....who knows?

I think people will be surprised, in a good way, with Etling's QB play.
And, yes, I know stuff, lots of stuff. As a matter of fact, I am a longtime Mensa member. To all morons who don't know, that's a group of really smart & smart-arse people.

You probably don' have to try to be a pecker head but coaches and players are humans so they booth make mistakes but hopefully that same mistakes won't be made here !

Just by judging how bad we have been the last several years, with the exception of Mett's second year, would indicate the bar is pretty low.
How many of LSU's opponents last season had worse QB play, and some of those were backups and walkons.

But, but, but! He's a "pro style" QB. And he is better than Harris. Just ignore his stats, he is super accurate, a hard worker and highly intelligent. Everybody says he looks better than all the other "dual threat" QBs during practice. And lets all forget McMillan is on the team, who had better high school stats and results against stiffer competition. Etling is the knight on the white horse coming to save LSU football.

If it wasn't for our receivers being elite athletes his stats could have been worse than Jennings. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he can't improve and lead this team but by no means should he be the clearcut starter no matter what.

Just to add a disclaimer onto my defense of Etling, I still believe Harris will be the guy and expect improvement from his soph to junior year. Some guys take more time.
Mett was a 5th year senior with a cast of future NFL stars before he became a "good" QB.

I watched every play from every game assclown. Not every receiver ran fly routes. He wasnt very good this year and you shite headed frick tards try to bash people for pointing it out. Get off his dick its embarrassing.
