He didn’t want Dave getting all his attention he thought he could just switch to 4-3 defense and lead a better defense than aranda (this defense is already better then 19). By doing this he fell on his face and aranda came out looking even better.

Remember all the upvoters on this thread wanted Aranda fired up through the Ole Miss game in 2019. Now he is a saint. I liked DA all the way through his tenure here, was a badly misunderstood guy by the Rant for most of his time here.
I am not here to defend Ed. Just trying to protect you youngens who dont realize that the media is just making 90% of everything up right now because it is a hot sell in the LSU market. They are just saying shite to get you to tune in tomorrow or click that link. You believe what you want to believe. I believe Ed and Dave had a better relationship than what Scarborough said and how is was paraphrased here.
Right now I believe Ed gotta go but he is just a punching bag right now for anyone wanting to take a swing.

O knows recruiting, cheer leading, where to dump bodies in the fishing hole and chasing ho's....there is zero evidence he knows anything about defense or offense

Ed is insecure and hated the fact that everyone knew Aranda was one of the main reasons for the program’s wins and not him.

Agree, Ed’s just not good enough for this high profile of a program. I also believe the DL coach in him wanted a 4-3 after a less than stellar defensive season in 2019. And Dave, who had turned down head coaching opportunities before saw it as time rather than struggle through trying to run a 4-3 with his personnel. A professional disagreement doesn’t mean Ed sh*t on aranda.
