No, you didn't. You only said your disability did not involve you having delusions. I never said you're delusional.

I said your posts show a loss of mental acuity. If you don't know what that means look it up.

I was trying to give you a face-saving excuse for your ignorant posts.

Hereinafter, I will just chalk up your dumb posts to you not being intelligent.

How many championships did Maineri win at Notre Dame?

He took Notre Dame to the CWS. Dean hasn't even made it close to a regional.

Answer: same amount as Blake dean has won as a HC.

Mainieri took Notre Dame to Omaha in 2002 after winning the Tallahassee Super-Regional Championship by beating Florida State 2 out of 3 games to advance to the CWS after winning the Big East Conference for the second consecutive year.

Your display of ignorance continues.

I also said I did not have any degenerative condition; loss of mental acuity would be grouped in that, chief. Either way, I bet you are real successful in life going around targeting disabled vets with personal attacks over trivial matters like baseball.

I guess sample size is not being considered here or do you guys think Blake Dean has been coaching for decades? And cool, Maineri beat perennial chokers FSU one time in a Super. One team was going to choke in that Super either way.

Beating LSU twice in week days games does not a great coach make. You have to consider a few seasons of work.

No I've never said or implied that in this thread. I only said I wish Dean was our hitting coach and recruiting coordinator (after andy left obviously)

LSURussian just likes to come behind me in threads and put words in my mouth then name call, that's all

Degenerative could mean muscular or skeletal...........chief.

You seem to bring up your military service and disability only after a poster calls you out following another of your dumb posts. And in no way am I "targeting" you. I am responding to your posts that show a lack of knowledge and/or intelligence as I would with any other poster. Would you prefer to be treated differently?

Thank you for your service.

YOU are the one who brought up the number of Dean's championships compared to Mainieri's at Notre Dame. Did you forget that?

0

Mike Martin at FSU who is a locked in hall of famer has won 0.

Also you said the cupboard was bare but it was players like dean, schimpf, and Coleman that smoke recruited that carried us to a title in 2009

I want you to re read my post as I mentioned all of those players. Is a coincidence that once Mainieri/Rooney arrived and changed Louis Coleman's arm slot that he magically went from a 5-7 pitcher to 8-1 in '08 and 12-2 in '09? No it's not

You're acting as if Mainieri was handed the keys to the 09 championship and that could not be farther from the truth. His first recruiting class was remarkable and changed the dynamic of what LSU was in a steady decline under Smoke to a continued year in and year out elite program which they are today.

LSU is in a better position now than when Mainieri took over.

I agree that we are in a better position now than when he took over. I hope you didn't think that's what I thought

Outside of beating LSU twice, have you seen UNO's record this year, they got swept by SLU.

Uno may be on the come up but SLU still has the superior baseball program

Every year thousands of people leave BR to go to UNO. Or is it the other way.

Rooney changed Colemans arm slot to a sidearmer. It didn't work and Coleman changed it back since they were wanting to pull his scholarship. They lost confidence in the kid and he almost had a nervous breakdown at the thought of losing his scholarship.

blake dean will stay til the end this year at uno then get hired at lsu for 2018 season. lsu sucks this year in baseball for 2017. lsu has the talent, all the players they have on roster is all they need. it is coaching that is the problem and maneirie doesnt realize that. he thinks a few runs will win the game at uno.

Slu has a good team. Matt riser has done well. 2 appearances in an NCAA regional and won a game both times. Before that last time slu went to a regional was early 90's.
