"Thanks for reply. I have a big group looking for tickets.

Is this venue in downtown Seattle?"

......For anyone familiar with Seattle (I lived there for a good part of my life), the Showbox is a very nice place and is located on First Ave. just south of the Seattle Mariners Baseball Stadium.

....Thanks for response.

I am very excited. I've got 8 tickets for my large group. When I ordered, they already had about 1,300 clicks on the site for tickets so I was very excited to get in.

Looking forward to a great time with Travis Matte!

It has a big open indoor area in front of the stage(warehouse-type set up) for concerts with a bar on the side (inside). I am not sure if under-21's can go into the bar during a show. It's NOT a sports bar - it's a concert venue.

It's located just south of Safeco Field and Seahawks Stadium on First Avenue.

We'll drink anything and everything they got.

We will fly in Thursday, Friday night Matte get-together. Boat cruise before the game. Sunday, got small things planed. Monday fly into Victoria, Grey Line bus tour most of day. 1 1/2 hr. before we fly back into Seattle, time to walk around Victoria. Then fly back to Atl Tuesday.......full long weekend.......

Hey 55 ,

Still haven't gotten final answer. I'm only part of the wheel. Will post soon. I think it looks positive for your situation ie. 10/14 !

Will get definitive answer ASAP ! thanks

Buying a ticket to this event and attending , both of which are legal , does not alter the Washington drinking laws .

I think he's getting at the fact that if the place was 21+, he wouldn't be able to get in, let alone try and sneak a beer.

18+ makes this possible.

Comes out to $30/person on Ticketmaster after "service charges" and shipping.

I think I'll wait and take my chances at the door Friday night. Got lots of other Seattle hot spots to hit up that night anyway. There's no way it will be packed till 2:00 am.
