It was a good year. We made it to the CWS but did not win it all. Everyone needs to have some class and keep perspective.

No, the ONE thing LSU has had for close to 30 years is baseball. LSU has been one of, if not the best program in the past 20 or so years, and expects to be playing in the post season and to be in Omaha.
"Getting there" isn't the goal, COMPETING there is the goal.
LSU baseball fans can tolerate losing in the CWS, (at least I can) but not completely shitting the bed like this team did this year. These two games were a horrible showing, which is why everybody is so upset.

Listening to the announcers talk us up the whole time only made watching the losses worse.
I bought into the hype, but for certain this is not the LSU I grew up watching. Winning games in Omaha is now the exception.
