f we get down by 2 TDs to Bama, I don't have confidence is JJ's ability to bring us back. Therefore, I think that Lee should be ready, if he is eligible to play

Wow, finally an intelligent point by someone. I baffles me that even the JJ-only fans don't after last weeks game understand why so many fans are bent out of shape. The was one of the worst performances most fans have ever seen from a QB. Miles has apparently decided that it is absolutely JJ or bust, because he ahs not given JL a significant snap since the Bama game. That is no way to make sure the backup is ready for important action if he is needed.

If JJ plays like that in the championship game, it is much less likely that our team will be able to survive the 1st half and have a chance to win the game. Because JL has gotten ZERO real game action snaps, the chances that he will be sharp if Miles does put him in are significantly reduced.

This is really pretty simple.

And first half of the SECCG looked scarily like the 2010 season all over again...only this time...Lee was not allowed to hop in for a series or two like Bama and Florida 2010 where he made the difference between a win and loss.

I agree totally, its a valid point... we could certainly use an effective passing game against Bama,... JL has shown he can do this. Thats all I am saying....

The team doesn't look any different to me than it did for 8 games. Other than starting slow in the last two

We were behind 3-6 at the end of one vs Oregon and behind again 9-13 with 29 mins gone in that game.

We were tied 3-3 with Miss St 28 mins in that game.

We didn't score a point in the 1st 20 mins of the Vol game.

I'm not sure we can say slow starts just started in our last 2 games.

If he addresses his class work, will Miles award him with a decent share of snaps in the BCSNCG, or will Miles continue to favor JJ regardless of his good or poor performance?

Les will go with whoever gives us the best shot to win.

There is no argument that a Lee lead Offense sees better execution of plays. JJ's execution is usually the result of bailing himself out of a broken play that was never executed well enough.

I swear Jarrett Lee has somehow achieved a mythical status that hes the equilivent of Tom Brady and our offense pre Bama was as good as the 07 Patriots.

FFS, get the frick over it. You shouldn't care if Tbob Hebert plays QB and we beat Bama 2-0 in 18 overtimes. Address that shite in the off season and be a god damned fan of WINNING for once. Bunch of frickin cry babies, christ.

So...how do you really feel about this "being fair to Lee thing?"

How do NFL QB's ever get sacked? It sounds so simple when you say "get rid of the ball dude". Spoken like someone who has definitely NEVER played QB.

We cant.
It's a 3yr trademark of a JJ led LSU offense.

when lee was the starter les put jj in as soon as possible and made sure they slip time. Now that jj is the starter lee has seen no significant time. This is Wat angers me.

There is a philosophical principle known as Occam's Razor. It suggests that the simplest explanation is the most likely. And the simplest explanation here is that Les thinks JJ gives LSU the best chance of winning. You could say that JJ being Les' personal favorite is also a simple explanation. But can't we rule that out since he would never be as successful as he is if he made personnel decisions based on favoritism?

Are you saying his point isn't valid because it is. You are deflecting as usual when ANY Lee weakness is brought up.
