Except for one older dude who was hollering at the top of his lungs..... "Man, I love those close games, this is gonna be the most exciting season of LSU football ever."

How did he stay that drunk when they quit selling beer at halftime. Or for that matter, get that drunk, or even maintain a pregame condition at $7/beer?

Not really. People tailgating don't really act like this, even if it is in the back of their mind.

They have some outspoken like this but most tend to stay positive and keep it to themselves, even if it is in their mind.

Most people on gameday just want to have fun any way they can find it...

Not a backwards flame, Colonel, but are the OM boards this viscously negative after Saturday as this one is?

The Ole Miss boards have shown backlash this weekend. (I think everyone is still in a bit of shock as a lot of regular posters are no where to be found). But the boards are NOTHING like there were when Orgeron was coach. Now, if we lose to Tulane...that will definitely be a different story.

no.
It is representative of FANatical people who have no lives and hate everything in life. They have NO pull over the LSU Athletic Dept, eventough they pay TAF fees. They always have "inside" information and know everything about everything.

No as I have yet to meet a Les Miles supporter in day to day life after the Ole Miss game last year. My job allows me to meet 20-30 new people a week. No one has said a positive thing about him.

If they were true "insiders" and paid enough into the TAF to matter, they would have better things to do than post here all day.

I go to Astros games here in Houston and usually speak to many of the LSU fans I see; either in the seats, concourse, or outside- Not one was excited about the Football Season or Miles. A very big "Wait and See" attitude, and certainly not enthusiasm for Miles. I have spoken to people tricked out in everything down to gold LSU socks to people with the Purple Titleist hat with LSU on the side of it. (Not Cheap Seats Either)

I usually like to judge someone's value by: "Who else would take them?" Clearly people of value are in demand. Saban can walk out of Bama this January and likely cause coaches at other schools to get fired in the hopes of getting him.

Miles can resign in January and would not have the same prospects for employment- even though his salary indicates a top 10 coach in the USA.

I'm sure Orgeron's last year was pretty brutal on your boards. One of my neighbors got banned from one of them (I forget which) for trying to warn them what a loser Orgeron was right after he was hired.

not even close. This is mainly made up of kids that haved absolutely no clue what it takes to have a major college football winning program. Mostly the haters of les miles are either very young and stupid and as of yet uneducated, or the older base that is very uneducated with very little reasoning skills. The realistic fans who have any common sense whatsoever realize the guy is 52-15 and has all kinds of hardware, top 5's, etc.......what these idiots don't understand is that their actions would inflence any top coach from coming here. Who wants to deal with this amount of ignorance.

Though I am a younger fan, I wanted to offer you a small piece of advice. When using the words "stupid," "uneducated," and "ignorant" to describe other people, it is important to refrain from misspellings, typos, or other grammatical mistakes that may destroy your credibility. Yes, it is only a message board, but lambasting a person's intelligence should be done in correct form.

I think this is mostly a place for people to vent their frustrations. I would be willing to bet that even the most vocal and radical individuals on this site are nowhere near this way in their everyday lives.

No, at least not the "go to games" fans. If it was, then there would not be nearly as much love for JL.

That along with the fact it was damn hard to find a place to buy my dear friend, Vodka, in the downtown area.
