This board will melt down when the media picks LSU to finish 10th in the league a few days from now.
Who would you put Nuss above? It's a good year for QBs in the league. I could see him playing himself into the top 5, but to put him there right now over QBs who have so many more starts is questionable.

Well there are 7 returning starters in front of him... Nuss is a promise right now. I believe he will shine this year but newbies are not going to get a lot of nod in front of returning starters in preseason polls. Exactly why LSU is rated at 15 despite most expect they will be top 3 in SEC. LSU's defense was so bad last season that we dont get a lot of cred for all the returning offense we have.

The only people that have TRUE faith in Nuss are LSU fans. To everyone else he’s just Jayden Daniel’s backup. He’s yet to prove himself throughout the course of a season. Most of those on that list have done so already.

Nuss doesn’t have a lot of experience. I think he could be potentially top 3. But for now he’s got to prove that. He will imo

He’s just basing it off of games played. That will change. I think Nuss ends up around 3-5.

After they were going over this list, the rest of the panel said Nuss was too low. Especially Harper said Nuss was Top 5 but he has no love for LSU otherwise.

Well that’s just not true. Jordan Rodgers was a D1 quarterback and literally watches film of all of these guys for a living. He most certainly knows more than you and I. I do though agree that it doesn’t really mean much, as analysts are wrong all of the time.

If Nuss isn't in the top three, you can forget about this team. We know the defense is suspect.
The offense will have to carry us and that means Nuss is the key.
