He can only use his pivot foot in that case and cannot move both feet or run the baseline in that case.
There is no pivot foot on the inbounds play. Go back in this thread and read rule.
Also the designated spot is a 3’ area and the player only has to have some part still in the 3’ box

1 or 2 of our guys should have knocked it away. There was a guys standing 2 feet in front of the shooter. I think he jumped a bit too soon. It was a fluke play - their version of the bluegrass miracle.
Yes it was something of a fluke. I heard Pope’s postgame interview and he said the play was designed to hit Aberdeen or Oweh crossing at half court. He also said he told Moreno as they left the huddle to be ready to catch and pop because the plays often result in overthrows.

Referees were slightly favoring Ky, but we had plenty of chances and our guys didn’t take advantage of them.
Sanctimonious comments like this fail to take into account both teams had plenty of chances to separate the score. Oweh clearly committed an offensive foul out in the open court and it should have been called. Yes the long throw in was perfectly placed but that doesn't negate the blown call on Oweh's drive.

If you want to complain about a non-call, the officials swallowed their whistles on what looked like a clear push off by the Kentucky guard on his drive to the basket with 5 seconds left. I thought Reece had pretty good position and Oweh extended his arm and pushed Reece completely out of the way. I also thought Miller had decent position on the shot challenge too. He didn’t jump into the offensive player. The offensive player jumped into him. That one is debatable because it’s in the circle though, but their guard clearly pushed off before that.
