What people are refusing to look at however is that his 2 worst games last year were against SEC teams (UGA and SC).

I don't really think people are refusing to look at them. The UGA game isn't really useful when looking ahead to this year. The SC game, he was pretty average. In that game he had extremely similar stats as Nuss did against Arkansas,

Look at Clemson’s D line, then look at our O line. Then let me know how you feel about Nuss.

I saw that Klubnik had 3600 yards with one extra game over Nuss.
Is 4100 his total yards???

Yes. That is why is says "Klubnik: 4,102 total yards" in my post.

According to On3 entire FBS rankings:

Nuss is rated as 5th best QB (I disagree with their rankings. They have Sam Leavitt as 1. LaNoriss as 2. Arch as 3.) None of these QBs threw for over 2,900 yards last year. You gotta throw more than that to be ranked top 3 in country. Arch also did horrible vs Power 4 teams with an above 2-10 record.
Clubnik is rated as 8th best QB

LSU has 2 of top 18 WR in country, and 4 of top 32 WR in country
Clemson has 3 of top 22 WR in country, and 3 of top 32 to do apples to apples

LSU has 2 of top 33 IOL in country. Both transfers.
Clemson has 0 of top 50 IOL in country.

LSU has 33rd ranked Tackle, 1 in top 50
Clemson has 8th ranked Tackle, 1 in top 50

Of the 7 higher ranked players I just named above ranked for OL and WR for LSU, 4 of them are transfers.

There’s no point in discussing the UGA game in terms of evaluating Clemson’s offense for 2025

UGA had many more injured and suspend players for that game than Clemson did.

Ah yes, because the key to understanding Clemson’s 2025 offense is analyzing how they looked in Week 1 of 2024 against a Georgia Kirby Smart defense, without the receivers who ended up carrying the team to the Playoff. Makes total sense.

Sure. let’s ignore that the guys LSU will actually be defending didn’t even play meaningful snaps in that Georgia game. Let’s just count up who had more suspensions. like Trevor Etienne on UGas offense (or the other non starters) because that will give really good insight as to what Clemson’s offense will look like v LSU in 2025.

One plays in a lightweight conference m, the other plays in NFL lite.

The SEC is not comparable to the NFL, regardless of how delusional you idiots are.

Clemson will have 80% of their team returning. There is a lot to be said for that which doesn't show up on the stat sheet for you shiny boy fans. Continuity enhances cohesiveness.
Last year we saw a lack of cohesiveness coming out of the gate for LSU and it still took a while to gel. We shall see whether our coaching staff is quality right from the start.

Nuss is getting the same amount of hype, what’s your point?

Nuss put up the stats last season to back up the hype.

Klundick is just Clemsons QB

To quote Paul Harvey “That’s the rest of the story”. This is why you don’t schedule a team like Clemson on the road for the first game of the season.

What in the world is that supposed to mean? I posted stats without commentary. Make of it what you will. LSU returns a team that will be better at every position group outside OL. As for that, no one expects them to be great game 1. The question is if the rest of the roster's upgrades outweigh what will likely be OL limitations on game 1 and how quickly new players acclimate.

How much difference did Hilton make at the end of the season? What does adding Brown, one of the fastest player in CFB do to the offense? How will Durham do year 2 without a steal plate in his shoe due to dislocated toes? LSU added OU's 23' leading receiver Anderson and 24' leading receiver Sharp. How much does that help to go along with 6'7 5 star Green as a starter? Lots of unknowns, but a lot to be positive about.

Continuity is definitely important, but most of the additions are portal starters with a history of production at P4 schools.

I'm not saying LSU wins, but to be a fatalist is pretty pathetic.

LSU has not stopped a mobile QB with a good team around him in a very long time. The Overtime Bama game. Cannot really say we stopped anyone even that day

this is definitely true, outside the Arkansas QB - mobile QB's killed us. But I think they made real efforts to get some defenders on the back end who are not afraid to tackle, and I think you'll see an improvement in that area because of it this year.
