I thought the next game was supposed to be an easier opponent, but UGA is 15-1 and played a harder non conference than us. Might be a really rough start to conference play.

That’s on coaching isn’t it ? But in Kim’s defense when you play a bunch of hacks before conference play it’s hard to identify weaknesses and fix the shite!

One thing that is definitely coaching is timeout usage. Seems like Kim is loathe to use timeouts to stop the bleeding, at least in the first half, but somehow used up all the timeouts super early in the second half. Brutal combination.

Over 20 turnovers. Missed layups, missed shots, falling down, rolling around on the floor, just sloppy bad for a team that is supposed to be a contender. Maybe do something before conference play to get your team ready instead of building their egos. Schedule some non conference games that shows respect for the rest of your schedule.

You are correct. She needs to sub more and keep allowing the girls to get better and gel against SEC opponents. This is a learning lesson(s). Better to lose now than in March. Duke on the other hand is straight up balling, right now. They took their L’s early, now they are better for it!!

Part of the reason we should play more people is that we clearly are better when we put our foot on the pedal. The team needs to get out and run more, plus apply more pressure on defense. They are struggling in the halfcourt on both sides, we should be trying to dictate pace of play.
