I know this isn't going to happen, but Smith would be eligible for a medical RS wouldn't he given he only played in a couple games last season? Just trying to figure out a scenario for him to retain that leverage and come back

Quite a change from the last game I did BPB, even some baseball regulars were ready to jump ship after UF game 1

played true freshman year, missed all but 2 games his sophomore year, this year is his junior year. But if a medical RS was in the picture, he'd technically be a sophomore this year and be able to come back as a junior and have leverage when drafted this year. I know none of this will happen and this will be his last year, but just curious if baseball works anything like football in terms of games played and them counting as a year played or how the medical RS process works (like do you have to apply for that medical RS after your eligibility has expired?)

I think it was just the lethargic nature of the Tigers when we needed a big series after what happened in Mizzou that had us all worried. Everyone knew we needed the Florida series and we came out looking like we didn't want. The bounce back was impressive though.
