dude, don't respond to me again, if you bothered to read my first posts I did nothing to discredit Miles, you guys are way too sensitive with stuff concerning Miles anyway, and it wasn't me bashing and callin people idiots when I first started talkin about this, get your facts straight you frickin moron.

Les Miles vs. Nick Saban
Holy crap, a truly original talking point!
Gerry Dinardo set everything up for Nick Saban, by the way. High school connections, consistent winning in first three seasons translating to in-state interest, etc. Saban finished what Dinardo started, and to say Miles finishes what Saban started without acknowledging Dinardo is being pretty illogical.

I think NS is like the CEO who comes into a company, breaks everything down, cuts waste, and builds it back up. CEO's like that are short lived and usually cant maintain that extreme growth. LM on the other hand is more steady, someone who can guide the company for long term growth, and to borrow a quote, helps build a solid "program". Just my opinion.

If you could shoot yourself in the face that'd be just sooper

What is Miles record against non conference?
FAR SUPERIOR to little nicky.
When has LSU last lost at home to UAB, or ULM?
What is Miles bowl record at LSU?
I will take MILES all the way!!!

OK, let's review
quote:Stupid statement and an obvious effort to diss Miles
Saban comes back that Katrina year, his D definitely doesn't blow a lead against Tenn like Miles team did, and they go unbeaten the rest of the year like they did and crush Ga. in the SEC title game.
quote:Sabanista excuses. Stupid assertion and an obvious effort to discredit Miles
but they should have won that bowl game, DB blows coverage against Iowa that's not Saban's fault, that's why he got so pissed.
but your wrong about 2005, they would have gone unbeaten with JR and contended for another BCS title.
quote:Clueless Saban worship. Baseless assertion Stupid statement and another obvious effort to diss Miles.
a Saban coached defense would not have gone into that SEC chanp game against UGA like they did and get blown out.
quote:More Saban fellating and yet another effort to diss Miles
Saban's laid foundation is the reason why Miles kept winning big is what you should admit
quote:. . . and yet again
my man, you know Les took over a program loaded down with talent, why do folks always over look that, that is all I'm sayin.
quote:Not only is Saban better, but you or anyone else off the street are at least as good.
one of y'all could have put on the headset and won with that talent, hell in 2005 the talent alone won all those games
quote:
I never said anything about not liking Miles

I have to say, of all the stupid arguments and ridiculous assertions spewed on the Rant, this has to take the cake. Although this isn't the first time I've seen it posted (mostly by Bammers and other opposing fans), it's the first time I've seen it used by someone declaring that they're not "bashing" Miles. By thinking, and therefore typing that sentence, you have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that you: (1) have no actual knowledge of the game of football; (2) bashed Les Miles; and (3) are an idiot.

I will be happy to believe you and stop thinking that you're a complete fricking moron if you can do just one thing: PROVE IT.

More Saban fellating and yet another effort to diss Miles
quote:WoW, you are a total retard, sir, so you not only misinterpreted everything I said so it could fit your own jackass agenda, but now you stoop to new lows, the people that I had a decent conversation with about this subject knew what I was talkin about, that is all that matters, you and the rest of the other clowns are so overprotective of Miles you should be on the staff.
Not only is Saban better, but you or any else off the street are at least as good.
p.s. criticizing Miles on certain issues or second guessing decisions he makes is commonplace, amongst anyone, analyst do it, other coaches do it, doesn't mean I don't like him, ok, Mr. Mom.

there is no doubt about it saban is a very good coach, however the end all be all will be when 10 years from now when we look back and see who has the win advantage

This pussy appears not to know me too well..
Now that is funny. This newbie telling BT what to say and not to say...
Here is your first post, you worthless frick.
-----------------------------------------------
Taking off your P&G glasses, people would say Nick Saban is better than Les Miles. Nick Saban came to Baton Rouge when LSU was a mediocre program in the nation, and he has turned the program around in just three years. However, Les Miles inherited Nick Saban's team and had the team going at 8-5 record last year (downhill).
At Bama, Nick Saban is god because he turned the program around in just two years, beating Les Miles and his LSU team - a defending NC- at their house. I know many of you will think this is Germans, but this is the truth. LSU's records would have been better if we still had Saban here. Thanks.
Your opinions are welcome

Well good then. Here they come.
My opinon is that you telling people to take off their purple and gold glasses tells me you're a fricking moron.
My opinion is that you don't know shite, you fricking moron.
My opinion is that you never played a down of college, let alone high school football in your life, and you have no idea of what it takes to
be a college player or coach, you fricking moron.
My opinion is that you discredited Miles right from the begining, you fricking moron.
My opinion is that you can't handle someone telling you their damn opinion and supporting it with damn fact, you fricking moron.
My opinion is that Les Miles is better because:
1) He won more than Saban did with Saban's players
2) Has recruited better than Saban did while Saban was at LSU,and even the last three years put together, Miles has a higer recruiting average;
3) That he is a better offensive mind, because Saban is a complete offensive idiot
4) That Les Miles' worst year was better than Saban's 8-4 and 8-5 seasons at LSU;
4) That even in darkest of times, Les Miles stood by LSU, and Nick Saban LEFT, you fricking moron.
Now, you have any questions.... you fricking moron?

all this BS about how we wouldve been undefeated in 2007
with nick.
Just saying is it that much greater to go 14-0 and win the National Championship or go 12-2 and win the national championship. Personally a National Championship is a national championship and I dont really care how we got there, but we did and got business taken care of there just fine with Miles. The Crystal Ball is in Baton Rouge and thats all that really maters, now if we can just get that darn golden boot

Here's a funny statistic
Rivals Class Averages
Yr Players /Avg bama--- Players/Avg LSU
2007 25 players/3.28 avg 26 players/3.88 avg
2008 32 players/3.79 avg 26 players/3.58 avg
2009 28 players/3.68 avg 24 players/3.79 avg
TOTALS 85 players for bama = 3.58333
TOTALS 76 players for LSU= 3. 750
And this is RIVALS, Bama's blowbuddie site.
Miles has recruited better than Saban over three years..............
you fricking moron.
It's my opinion, and I follow it on FACT.
Get it?

Saban's records at LSU
Year Record Embarasssing Losses
2000 8-4 UF 41-9, UAB 13-10
2001 10-3 UF 44-15
2002 8-5 AUB 31-7, Bama 31-0 Texas 35-20
2003 13-1 A 8-4 UF coached Zook team 19-7
2004 9-3 UGA 45-16
This is Nick Saban at his finest.
That is not opinion. THAT is fact.
Even in his 3rd year, Saban was losing games by 30. In his 5th year, it nearly happened again.
Miles:
Embarassing loss
2005 10-2 UGA 34-14 (less than Saban)
2006 11-2 None combined losses 14 points
2007 12-2 None, 2 OT losses
2008 8-5 UF 51-21, UGA 51-38, OM 31-13
So when Saban loses by 20 twice it's a fluke.
When Saban loses by 20 or more... 4 out of the 5 years he was here.. no big deal.
Miles loses by more than 20... ONCE IN 4 YEARS...
like I said, you're a fricking moron.
