Too expensive to be the only person sitting in my section after halftime. LSU fans just aren't that fun INSIDE the stadium.
People care more about the tailgate/afterparty/beating traffic than the game itself. The hardcore fans who stay for a full game are a dying breed.

I called the ticket office last year and left a message for season tickets. Nobody ever called me back.

Because that’s not how the process works.

Inflation is hurting lots of the lower income folks and Louisiana got a lot of those

When people have to cut back on spending, Sports tickets will be amongst the first things cut

I have been in the South club since it opened, and go every game. What keeps me going is the convenience and amenities inside the stadium. Never thought I would say this but outside of attending the big SEC games, I would never get season tickets in the lower bowl end zones ever again. The experience would suck for my family. I think the chairbacks are better but it is still substandard.

If I could not access club seats, I would have not bought season tickets. I think a lot of people don't go because of the lack of amenities for the common fan with a decent income, but not enough to afford premium seating.

They did that survey on the future of Tiger Stadium several months ago. They showed several different designs including dedicated outdoor suite looking sections with grills to cook your own food, and other small suite like areas but on a cheaper scale from a full fledged suite, and so on. They want to add more premium seating to the stadium which would reduce capacity. I think a redesign is coming within 10 years.

I still enjoy tailgating 25 years later. I still enjoy going into tiger stadium with ALL my closest 100k+ friends. I still 'sneak' whiskey in so I won't spend money on $8 beers. The post game traffic has been shite since Saban days, no more or less. Only two problems:
1) Concession lines. It shouldn't take 1/2 Quarter to get a sprite and peanuts. WTF is wrong with these people?
2) University needs to stay out of Medical and Political policies.
3) fricking Concession stands can STTDB

There are so many factors that are affecting attendance. Not only at LSU but across the CFB landscape.

Season tickets for 50+ years and were given up due to the woke stuff. My sister took them for sentimental reasons but she doesn't go to the games.

Basically, LSU made it loud and clear I'm not part of their target audience.

Priced themselves out of the market. Just not worth it when you factor in parking fees, concession prices, restrooms, traffic nightmare. With all that money you can buy big screen entertainment system.

It’s beyond time to lower the attendance and ramp up the amenities.

Greatly expand the food and beverage options, get 21st century bathrooms, and lean into gambling with a sports book and viewing area with several games on. Oh and boost the wifi.

Old people won’t like it, but if you want people to come to games, you have to make it a comfortable experience and right now it’s not.
