Exactly why I didn't request tickets to this one.

The other city in L.A. County with its own public health department, Pasadena, already recommends that everyone — including the fully vaccinated — wear masks in indoor public settings, and the city is “reviewing options for a mandate,” according to a spokeswoman.

I live in LA and this is total bullsnot (you know what I mean). Though Los Angeles County announced that not one vaccinated person has been admitted into any hospital, they are requiring indoor masking for everyone starting Saturday night at 11:59 PM.

How can anyone who is not freaking braindead vote for the people in the political party that dominates Los Angeles and California?

So "science" is now suspended in LA County and all the Biden-Harris administration rhetoric about 'if you have the vaccine you don't need to mask' is out the window. (And do we know if masks have any effect anyway? This is about control and power by out of control politicians.)

By the way, regarding what the capacity will look like at the game, anything is possible with these small-minded people in charge here. Thank God, Pasadena where the Rose Bowl is has it's own health department and it lags behind on these restrictive requirements, but the governor may be able to supersede all this if they perceive things going to hell.

Most of y'all sound like a bunch of crybabies.

If you're gonna come out here, WEAR THE D__N MASK!
They're still gonna have the game, but yes, you may have to wear the mask and you may have to show you're vaccinated. So what? Just do it and enjoy the game.

I would assume no fans would be allowed by the time kickoff gets here.

Meh, kind of a nothingburger. The sheriff (Villanueva) came out today and said they're not enforcing it. Wear it into the game and then take it off.

this statement mad sense 15 months ago. I had not problem with wearing masks last year. We didn't know much about the virus and had no vaccine. Now that we have a vaccine, there is no reason for vaccinated people to get it. If you keep mask mandates, you make people think there is no reason to get the vaccine and worse question other vaccines.

The actions of 2020 are not sustainable, we have to get back to normal.

This game looks like it’s gonna get cancelled if we can’t somehow FORCE them to move it to Vegas.

I realize we are dealing with Calif clowns but the mandate is only indoors correct? Are these measures applicable to Pasadena?

I doubt seriously the game will be over 20% capacity if it's actually to be played on Sept 4 as scheduled. And any "tailgaiting", as discussed in earlier threads, will be extremely unlikely.

The cases of COVID in L.A. County are surging out of control. The pandemic is far from contained, and new variants are coming up like wildflowers after spring rains.
