Dickinson is a great bunter, and I don't mind him calling his own number on some drag bunts, but he's not quite as fast as he thinks he is

They arent telling Dickinson to do that. Dickinson is the best bunter on the team and he only does it to try and get a base hit out of it typically and he's done it a handful of times this season.

He did that on his own to get a hit and it was a good call and execution. It was a great play. Grass field catcher probably cannot make that play.
