Y’all talk about this game as if it mattered to LSU.
LSU showed up to Tuscaloosa needing only one win to win the SEC outright. They got that win the next day.
In the SECT LSU and Bama met in the winners bracket final. Winner would only have to play one more game that week, loser would likely play 3 more. LSU won.
LSU and Bama met in the national title game. LSU blew them out.
