What’s Florida’s excuse for not winning this year. They won it last year and everyone with eyes can see this years yeam was better than last years.
The answer is because “that’s baseball”. I now everyone hates that saying, but that’s the nature of the game.

Because you use all the years since 2010 to gauge LSU but you do not use the in-between years for other programs when they don't make it to Omaha. There's a reason for that. It's that you don't know shite about college baseball as a whole. You just know when LSU doesn't perform up to your standards and use that as your argument. This doesn't warrant its own thread, but The Baseball Cube has been adding in Summer League stats, stats for levels below D1, and JUCO stats for the past couple years. If anyone is looking for a rabbit hole to disappear into like I have the last couple days.

I am thinking that the UNO game at the Box will be free since it doesn't count on the record. I have nothing official to confirm this assumption, however.

Whether you win a game or not in Omaha and ultimately lose anyway what difference does it make? You act like making it to Omaha is not an elite accomplishment. A comparison would be the college football playoff. LSU is on par with the best in that accomplishment with UF leading the pack and they just won a natty.....oh but they still won more games in OMAHA omg...who gives a frick they lost when it’s all said and done. I don’t get your point.
