I’m trying to be angry about this, but I really don’t care. I’ve never really paid attention to the ads before and I think a secondary board for advanced stats is really cool.

This. I'm really excited about getting to see the full lineups, how everyone has hit to that point, etc. I can live with an ad or 5 that I don't pay attention to anyway.

How can he call something "badass" but also ruined in the same sentence. Makes no sense. If the ad ruined it, it's no longer badass.

That’s what they said it’s for, if it’s not, then I’ll be upset to have two video boards in the outfield that display the same thing. But the ads don’t bother me.

The Box’s outfield doesn’t seem cohesive and not well thought out. I’d like to see a full-field view, but it seems too narrow. Strange symmetry.
Also the batters eye looks terrible.

I'm no fan of the new box. It's stale and lifeless IMHO. The lack of seat backs sucks. All those bleachers look like shite. I just generally don't find it aesthetically pleasing. But I can't get upset by this new board.

If you want seatbacks and are okay with this, then idk what to tell you. This is money spent that could have eventually paid for seatbacks. Something the box desperately needs to stay in the top 10 of the sec in terms of venues.

I don't know the ins and outs of LSU baseball's operating budget and won't pretend to. But I'm guessing the ad money from Planet Fitness and Hancock is what paid for the board. In that case, no new ads = no new money to burn = no new board
