Wrong! There will be many of the same players, but for the first time in a long time we will be the more experienced team.To think players won’t progress year to year is just silly, and there are a few freshmen that might make some waves next year.I’ve been disappointed too,but this should be the best defense Aranda has fielded.I believe the offense will also be improved in every facet.Time will tell

Well to beat Alabama the offense will need to be dramatically better at sustaining drives and finding ways to put up points on the board. I don't doubt the defense can handle anything but they aren't going to be shutting out Alabama. Offense is going to have to produce for us to have a shot.

Who can focus on Alabama right now, the season is a long one. As long as O is the head coach and burrow is the QB, we are behind Saban and Alabama. Many are predicting a win, that is a joke because we haven’t scored on Alabama with Ensminger as OC. Most fans with O colored classes have too much offseason speculation. We should focus on Ga Southern first.

LSU will outplay the gumps this year, if Burrow is healthy.

Do your home work, ecb

The LSU OLine is more than good enough IF they only have to pass-protect for 1.5 to 2 seconds... more than enough time for a short quick-hitting pass game

So you’re saying we’re just gonna throw it every down? That actually might not be a bad idea.

You are just one of many predicting this. We are due and have our best overall combo by far since a few years ago.

You can take no pride in your prediction, as you are merely one of many saying this. Myself among them.

Great!

Post a link to your thread! The more the merrier! I searched for a prior topic/thread saying LSU beats Bama in 2019, but couldn't find one.

And I'm not looking for "pride" - I'm stating my assessment loud and clear. I'm not burying it in a comment 5 pages into somebody else's thread.

Thar's the beauty of the Spread quick/short pass game. It turns 340 pound D-linemen into spectators.

I think you’ve got the right idea the only catch is how much freedom will Ensminger have and how much input will Brady have.

LSU May beat Texas, but it won’t be by 4 or more TDs. I also don’t see us beating Bama in Tuscalooser.

Not saying Texas is a bad team But the match-up couldn't be much worse for Texas. Particularly in the early season with the most inexperienced pass defense in power-5 football.
