Seriously doubt thi is legit. Why would we wait til today if we had interest in this guy. Plus he's been pretty vocal today about returning to PSU

I'm still amazed that after 4 years of suck, we have signed/committed about 8 QB's, we have 2 that have been in the system as long as Mettenberger and we are still wasting scholarships on backup PSU QB's

I think Miles is concerned about a repeat of what happened with JL. I belive that he blames himself for having to put an unprepared kid out there and set his progress back by having them abused by the type of defenses we face in the SEC.

I agree with that and add that maybe Miles is looking AHEAD because he sees Mettenberger really progressing, a potentially large exudus to the draft.
Barring injury or stupidity (by player or coach) Mettenberger plays all meaningful snaps.
I hope we have big leads and can play others but I'm not banking on if happening all that often. We keep lesser opponents in games and go conservative too often for that.

Seriously, Rivers is way better than most of you realize. I never see Bolden ahead of him - especially with Rivers' 1st year already under him.
