Of course God is an LSU fan. Ever wonder why it never rains in Tiger Stadium?
I think you have your answer.

I took a vacation to Costa Rica last year. I went to this tiny open air Cafe ran by a husband and wife just outside of Quepos, Costa Rica down a long gravel road. I was wearing an LSU dri-fit shirt and enjoying my imperial beer while swatting away all the indigenous bugs, when the wife came up to me and exclaimed "Oh, Los Tigres!" and pointed at my shirt.
She immediately shuffled off to the back room of the restaurant and quickly returned bearing two LSU Tigers shirts. She was very proud of them and was showing them off to me and my friends.
We continued our discussion in the thick and humid Costa Rican night, reminiscent of quintessential Baton Rouge weather. She went on to explain that a devout LSU Tiger fan had emigrated to Costa Rica and had bought a house just down the road. And he promptly converted the local populace into LSU Tiger fans.
It really is a small world.

There is half a village in Afghanistan with LSU shirts. I bought a bunch of them on sale and handed them out to piss off a Gump fan that was with us.

Did it work? If so you are the man!! I'll bet you accomplish great things over your life...As long as it gets to a Bama fan you'll be fulfilled. I wish I could be you. You're so cool. To buy a bunch of shirts to piss off one guy. You are on top of the game and life.
Afghans with LSU shits on? I'm sure they went to some LSU site and bought them since LSU is THE global name in sports. They don't even know who LSU is dude. Please. It was a humanitarian drop more than likely which if that is the case says more to the decline than fandom.

Damn son, grab some coffee or something. It's way too early and you're way too upset over a relatively tame story about a guy's harmless entertainment overseas.

Went to Israel a few years ago. In the two malls we went to they had shops that specifically pander to tourists with these kinds of shirts for all US sports teams.

Based on your Gumptastic reply in this thread, I'm willing to bet it did work.
