I said it will be a nail biter a few days ago but if the game is in Baton Rouge, LSU will win by 2 scores and gator fans will cry that the world isn't fair.

I was reading the Florida Gators board...one in particular.... Prepare Yourselves.... wow they are doom and gloom. They don't think they have a chance against LSU this week. They say their Defense is banged up as well as the offense. Saying they cant run the ball and their DT's are too small. One poster said LSU 34 Florida 6
I feel LSU rolls 41 Florida 7 in the swamp. If moved to Tiger Stadium...LSU in a route 52 - 6. Just have a gut feeling its gonna be nasty.

I still have no idea how to "predict" LSU at this point.
The only thing that's nice right now is that I know that no matter what happens Saturday, if we do lose, it will NOT be because we just banged our heads against the wall.
We'll go down trying whatever it takes to win.
That in itself is such a welcome change, I almost don't care beyond that...............almost.

24-17 Tigahs. I actually feel better about this game than I did going into the Mizzou game.

If the game is played as scheduled, I think the early kickoff time will play in our favor since it is an away game. If the crowd ever gets on their A game in early games, it usually happens after halftime depending on how the game goes. Its the Swamp, its still going to be loud, but "not as loud" obviously favors us on offense.
I am not even really sure how good this Florida team is anyway. Their first three games were against UMass, Kentucky and North Texas. Then they lost to Tennessee, which has been their toughest opponent so for this year, then last week they beat Vandy by 7 (but Vandy always plays them tough).
After 5 games, on average they score 28 points per game and give up just over 11 points (which really doesn't say much considering they scored most of their points against UMass, UK and North Texas).
I think the key factor in this game will be our defense. Hopefully we can gain some time possession control in the 1st half, keep the D off the field. If that is the case and it is a close game I think we will be in good shape to win. In reality, I could sit here all day and say "if this happens then that might happen" or "if we do this and Florida doesn't do that", but I am just going to say....
LSU wins
27-16
