LSU vs. Ole Miss Next Season. The Must-See Game Nationally? Regionally? Or Just An....

.....LSU/Ole Miss grudge match?
I think the national media will be all over this game next season and it could well be the must-see game in college football in 2026. Especially since I expect both teams to be very good.

I hope its better for both teams sake. I was in a back n forth w a piss fan and by the end of it, i told him we should both be missrably ashamed, he agreed. Lsu vs ole miss was the worst football game ive ever seen in d1 football. Both teams were absolute trash. This is the least talked about relevant thing this year. Go watch it again and pretend youd want eitner offensive staff in charge of any part of your program. I have not gotten anyone to actually be willing to talk about that shite show to this day.

That game was before Chambliss really got rolling. He looked pretty bad in the first quarter and had several inaccurate throws in the 2nd half.
Our offense was an absolute joke vs a defense that couldn’t stop the run all season.

I absolutely hate that it will be dubbed the Magnolia Bowl with a stupid arse trophy from Home Goods.
It’s okay to just admit that teams, schools and fan bases hate each other. Lane switching sides was great for this. It’s stoked flames of hate that some Ole Miss fans haven’t experienced since James Meredith stepped onto campus.
Gameday will be there. They’ll get their night game and Lane can troll them about that.
This will be the game that solidifies LSU as the boogie man and I hope they drop 70 on Ole Miss.

That game this past year was kind of discouraging looking at it now to be honest. LSU and the BK offense was really very bad. Ole Miss and the wizard Kiffin should have blown us out of their stadium.

Both teams need to be 2-0...but it'll be a huge game.
Networks sell story lines, not games. They are going to be searching for the one liners coming from Ole Miss coaches and players dissing Kiffin and looking for the best Trolling coming from Kiffin.
It will be great if Devin Harper and Winnie Watkins are starting for us...and Carius Curne is starting for them. The more drama they can sell, the better.

I'm 48 and am old enough to remember my parents and friends that loathed Ole miss. My mom almost attacked an ole piss fan at their stadium one year when he threatened my dad lol. I think the younger generation will now taste the hate lol

Ole Miss vs LSU 2025 was much closer than people think, and had LSU possessed a semblance of an offense and a coach who gave a shite, LSU would have won.

It will be the most hyped game of next season because the sports media can sell the drama.
I'm actually glad it's at Oxford. We'll be the villain and the sports heads will rake us all week. Going there and winning could be a trajectory game for the rest of the season.

Ole Miss vs LSU 2025 was much closer than people think?
Ole Miss outgained LSU 480-254 and turned the ball over twice to our once. It was actually much worse than the score, not closer.
Swap coaches in 2025 and yes, LSU might have won.

This is the very reason the SEC made this the first SEC game on the schedule. They know that they have to get this game in before Pete G (Matt Luke 2.0) steers the BearSharks into their inevitable decline.
