Why are we trying to throw the ball to halfcourt with 0.8 seconds left and under Florida's goal? Just get the ball in bounds and go to half with a 7 point lead and momentum. We gave them a chance to hit a shot before half.

People talk about missed layups and jump balls. For me, it’s the mind boggling decisions they make.
Someone who has never played basketball before wouldn’t throw it straight OOB with .8 left from under your own goal like that.

We have a play there, one big is supposed to set a backscreen for the other at halfcourt. MK then throws the bomb. Joyner forgot to set the screen.

0.8 seconds left in the half. Not very likely to score. Do what we did and you give Florda the ball unde their own goal.

But even if all of that would have happened, she threw the ball straight out of bounds. It wasn’t even close to being anywhere near the court. I’ve never seen anything quite like that. That was horrible.
