This was the all white with the gold helmets. The first time Nike unveiled the new pro combat uniforms which were the first prototype of the style and cut of uniforms the ncaa play with from Nike now. It was Lsu and I can’t remember the other teams selected that year. They tweaked them some over the next few years and made it a bigger thing. Those uniforms I think were the best alt along with the ones used in 2011 against auburn. Those white helmets with the light off white tiger stripes were money. I’m not sure whick one I liked better but one of thise two should be used yearly.

2011 Jarvis Landry straight steamrolled that auburn guy.

Good lord you guys are a little over the top with some of these comments. It’s just a uniform color change for 1 game? They aren’t changing the color scheme for good. If the players like it and it ends with a win then I don’t see the big deal? I like when they change the color scheme up every once in a while. The all whites are the best but there’s nothing wrong with having some fun with it. Go for it!!!
