So record isn’t a good measure of who is and isn’t a good or great coach?

164-58 is good?

10-25 great?

Wonder if Richt is gonna know who his starting RB is gonna be?

We know that Ed O has a difficult time knowing who his 3rd tailback is and whether or not he's good or not.

Yep, Richt a guy has averaged more than 9 wins a season, has won conf championships and divisional championships is likely to be unprepared.

He also has had many underachieving teams even with a good QB. His team is ripe to get beat in this opener.

Do you honest to god think they haven’t watched a shite load of our film?

I can tell you they haven't watch one minute of film on our offense

Right has 58 losses. O only has 33

Just as soon compare this if some are comparing Richt's overall record to what Coach O has done in his what, 4 years of being a head coach!

So you want to compare a coach with 222 games under his belt and one with 35? No one said anything about comparing the two so stop with this bullshite haters! Geez you guys want to stir shite anyway y'all can!

What Richt does know is he's team is about to face a big physical team that plays in the SEC. Something he is very familiar with.

You’re right though, he said some guys had wrong numbers so they’re probably not prepared.

Hell LSU players change numbers so frequently sometimes I forget who’s wearing what number.

he has a whole day devoted to 3rd down and red zone, areas I believe they struggled in last year.
that's a hard stink to shake with the same players/coaches in place. I like it.

pretty sure our coach has fudged up on his own players too.

Why did you have to add this? Do you have knowledge of this. It sounded like he knew what was going on with the Miami team according to his scouting reports. He revealed this at yesterday press conference. So pretty sure you fricked up on your statement too.

Richt actually has a great sense of humor. I heard him speak at a Christian athletic function & he was both very entertaining and quite funny. I saw a game last year where he had to be held back by coaches/players as he was after a ref. Maybe simply being @ Miami has changed him as he is not quite as docile as he appears.

Richt had MANY very good QBs and other skill players. Matt Stafford, Aaron Murray, and David Greene immediately come to mind. All were extremely productive.

Also had exceptional talent elsewhere. But with an occasional exception, he just never got UGA to stay at an elite level of play. Again, good but not great, even though they clearly had the talent.

I like him as a coach but look how Georgia has progressed since he left.

If LSU could only be so lucky. Richt reminds me of Miles as a coach. Good but not great. He wasn't lucky enough to have had Saban set him up at Georgia like he set Les up at LSU.

For that reason, I feel pretty confident about LSU putting a whooping on Miami.

Isn’t he something like 164-58?

If he’s just “good” what’s Orgeron?

Richt was good enough to get fired like Les. LSU and Georgia should never settle for just good. They invest too much in their programs to accept mediocrity. Orgeron knows that damn well. What he did before doesn't matter. What he does going forward will determine his destiny. I'll wait until the results are in. He might pull a Trump.

You went into more depth than I did but this just goes to prove my point. He and his team's underachieve.

Richt and Miami are going down.

He was so good Georgia run him off. Look at Georgia now. Also, wtf are you including the record from ole Miss for O? So it fits your agenda?

ugh because it goes into his overall career record as a head coach. Just because he sucked balls at ole miss doesn’t mean you can erase all those losses. Those carry with you

My guess is he knows a lot more than he leads on just like you would expect him or any other coach. What I liked about his press conference as well as O's. They don't act like jerks to the press who are asking the questions. Some of these guys (1 in particular in college football) just goes in like he's being forced to coach football and he hates his job while making 10 million a year.

To be fair, he also had a reputation of choking in big games while at UGA.
