BH was awful, and that changed everything in the game...could not sustain a drive, thus the defense was on the field too long...and Auburn is a pretty darn good team, as was Miss State.

Auburn went up 24-7. In that same time we threw it 2 tmes. Then the next two drives, we throw it once. Of our first 20 plays, 17 were runs, and only 3 passes. I don't remember if any of those three passes were from shotgun. How in the monkey hell was that Harris' fault? Please explain your dumbass self more clearly.

We'll be lucky to get a bowl game at this point.

Why not give the kid(qb) a change to throw the ball early and get into the flow of the game. But no LES he will run and run until we get behind by 17 points or more then let him throw. C'mon coach give the kid a fair chance. Everybody remembers Jordan Jefferson right. Les pretty much his way or highway.

It's time for a change, the SEC West has become too strong to depend on talent and luck alone to compete.

8-4 isn't out of the question - beating UF, UK, A&M, and Arkansas is very possible.

OM will be just like MSU though.

But Bama isn't elite this year.

Please let's end the "great recruiter" tag. We've never had even a mediocre qb in past 10 yrs. Every year one can look at 2 dozen teams around the country and say "if we had a guy like this...". Top it off with no DT's in past few years.

We haven't contended for 3 years, and the worst team/effort/plan of the era exposed itself last night. With all the excuse makers , it's easy to see how Nero lasted so long. Tune up the fiddle , Les.

To those of you who love to toss the "negatigers" card, drop dead. I'm not scraping off the pin stripes on the cars, repainting the jet ski, or taking 3/4ths of the wardrobe to Goodwill. But I can see the truth after it's hit me 1/9/12, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and now last night. Telling the truth does not negate the love or the passion for LSU. If anything, it;s designed to salvage it.

nooooooo.... Massive Over Reaction was after MState... Anything that is "fire coaches" that have taken us to this level (prior to State game) is over reaction. Anything short of funeral march for the 2014 season is blind, miss-guided optimism.

Awww dude, we got a spot wrapped up already, and it's called the "Toilet Bowl", where all crappy teams go to play...

Under no circumstances should LSU lose 41-7 and play as poorly as they did

I agree with this. I'm just not going to jump off a cliff because we lost two games against some pretty darn good teams. It happens.

I want some changes just like the next guy. I also expect this team to gain from the experience and get better the rest of the year. Yes, I said Harris played awful, and he did. But, I think there is a distinct possibility he will improve dramatically going forward, now that he has that under his belt.

The next two games are definitely winnable. With those two games, they will be able to gain much more experience, and then get Ole Miss in Tiger Stadium and for a change. This year's Ole Miss game will not be like those of the past...the atmosphere in the stadium will be rocking. I hope Ole Miss comes in undefeated.

The rest of you can call me retarded, or whatever you want....I've just been through this, and it's never as bad as it seems. You guys will see. I'll bump this thread later for those of y'all bashing me. Also, I do not think Alabama, A&M, Ole Miss, or Arkansas are as good as the two teams LSU has played. Just my opinion. Bash away.

still waiting for a response to my offer.... i'm dead serious.... let's put a little cash on your "belief"...

how old are you? Kid I could probably buy you out with my spare change. Pretty stupid to be challenging for money on a damn message board. I don't know that LSU will win 7 or 8 games...but that is what I believe. Wisdom has taught me to not jump to hasty reactions....something you may learn over time. LSU has some talent on that team, some good talent...it obviously isn't clicking, yet, but they will improve. If they don't, then yes, there is something serious going on there. But if they do improve, you guys will be right back on the bandwagon.

Harris never had a chance with the running plays on every first and second down.

OP nailed it. Harris looked awful handing off 17 of the first 20 plays and he changed everything.

Man, GFunk, I didn't realize this 17/20 - yikes! BTW, did we win the coin toss? I remember the first series with the 3 straight tosses.
