They didn’t either. That’s why they didn’t go to Alabama.

LSU has a huge following in West Monroe. Hostility towards the Tigers isn't going to fly up there.

Curtis has a history of players going to other schools outside the state.

The West Monroe job is one of best if not the best in Louisiana. It’s no surprise the top guys are going after it.

Exactly, why wouldn't a top tier coach go after that job?

They didn’t care about south Arkansas, a hot bed for Alabama recruiting. That’s why they went to LSU.

I don’t know how to simplify it any further so your Arkansas education can understand.

Let's see, live in an area with great outdoors, great people, awesome school, handsome pay, incredible football tradition/facilities. Sounds awful.

Name them all and where they went.

I’m honestly curious.

Curtis can’t run that “jungle” or all out blitz defense in 5A. He’ll get crushed

Jess Curtis is the biggest fraud and most overrated coach in Louisiana. Now that all of his built in advantages are gone, you'll never hear about him again. I'm curious if anyone else in Louisiana has access to every boy in their parish for football but only plays in class 2A.

WM has access to 5 parishes, and plenty of money.

They’ll be fine with the right guy.

You're a fricking idiot

In the last 6 years LSU has gotten just about everyone its really wanted from North LA

In the last 10 years multiple AA from North LA have played for LSU and Campbell will be another one

While many Curtis players have went elsewhere, there have been very few we wanted really bad. The problem is with Curtis is that that there program is run so well, many of their player don't have a tremendous amount of upside.
This is not just Curtis, this same situation has led to the decline of Texas football. The high schools run a college style weight program and their players are very physically advanced compared to most high school players

I doubt he would get the job but it is a great way to piss off your current employer. Can’t imagine Micah will have warm and fuzzy feelings about Jess.
