Sad to see so many people who have been quiet all year just sit their and harp on the game tonight on the main board. And they seem excited to see them struggle tonight. Sad fake fan base. End of the day. Its the holidays. PVU can score alot of points. I feel like this team is still positioned for the NCAA tournament. Time will tell.

Love the win! Anytime you are heavily favored but the other team is shooting lights out, it feels great to rally and pull it out. Basketball usually has a lot more upsets.than football to smaller schools. Sure this team still has problems and we have no idea how many SEC games we can win, but every win adds to my enjoyment of the season, We do know that depth we thought we had is not so deep and while we can score, the defense and rebounding is not where it needs to be. But I will be there for every game, win or lose and just hope we will be competitive.

Is Jalen Reed's absence adversely affecting the team? LSU just doesn't manifest the same swag they exhibited before he suffered the ACL problems in the Emerald Coast tournament.

Reed’s presence is missed IMO, but he was coming off the bench and playing 18 mins or so while working back from last season. I really like Jalen and rooting for him 100%, but posters acting like he was Naismith winner are delusional.

Yikes! Giving up 90 points to Prairie View!. SEC play won’t be pretty.

PV shot 57% from 3, our philosophy on defense is to make people beat us from 3, so there will definitely be some SEC games we get blown out, but I believe we will win more games than we lose in conference. PV came in 198th in 3 point fg%. The key will be staying out of foul trouble. This is a much more winnable approach contrary to last year where we were god awful in protecting the paint. I'm not a huge fan of switching everything and going under screens, but it keeps opponents from living at the rim like they did last year.
