I am not scared of any team this year.

With Mett and the boys putting up some huge points, the defense will be able to take some plays off and be fresher towards the end of the season.

Watch out for Landry this year , he will be a beast on offense, OB will be an all star and Boone will step up.

Then you have Hillard after a year in the program just crushing people at the line and busting into the end zone. Ware will be pissed and ready to punish someone and Blue will just flat out fly down the field.

Sam and Mingo will want to be top 5 picks, so they will be bring the wood and they will be crushing AJ or any other QB standing in their way.

Lastly AJ (The Freak) will bear down on Barret Jones and pancake his Pillsbury arse.

I will take those mean arse country boys from LSU against the surfer dudes from USC any time.

Next stop Miami !

This is huge! We never get praised like this. Not 4 years ago NFL guys were saying LSU players weren't NFL ready.

No one mentions that those were Saban players.

I'd rather be the pissed off, hungry, overlooked underdog to start a season.

But ... I'll take this.

But we have Les Miles. At least one loss right there. Fact.

That's been my opinion from jump, but I'm certainly no expert and I'm definitely biased.

Mel is considered an expert on football talent, whether folks agree that he is or not. I think this opinion reinforces what most of us think about our talent on hand.

I've also heard that in the Vegas pre-season lines for all games LSU is favored in every game as of now.

Now winning 14 games is never easy. I think our 2006 team was also the most talented team in the country and even with the obligatory officiating gripes and whining, those are both games in which we absolutely should have overcome and won anyway. Terrible offensive gameplan (Auburn) and silly/stupid turnovers and mental mistakes (Florida) cost us those games much morese than the official.

So it ain't gonna be easy. And we might could still win it all with one loss. But I hope we don't have to roll those dice.

Nope. Go to his twitter. He says they will have a dominant offense and an easy schedule. Compared them to 2010 Auburn.

So they are the best team because they have an easy schedule, or is he choosing them because of that? If you want to be the best you have to play the best.

What the hell does the man have to do to earn some of you people's respect. That is just flat out a dumb statement.

Not quit on his team in the biggest game of the year. A coach who quits is quite pathetic.

Not treat a player so poorly as he did over nothing. That was quite pathetic too.
