I don't understand the doom and gloom from the LSU fanbase. Sure, we lost game one to a probably mediocre FSU, and MSU has won its two games convincingly. However, what do we really know other than that so far?

Memphis and Arizona aren't exactly world beaters, and FSU could be better than we think. Also, this game is at home and the team will be hungry for a decent win.

On offense, their rbs are a drop off of what we’ve seen in the past from msst.

The two main RBs are not the typical MSU RBs of the past due to offensive scheme differences but they have almost 1/3 of the offensive yds so far this season.

Marks & Johnson
220 yds rushing
113 yds receiving
333 all purpose yds from those two RBs of the 973 yds of total offense for team this season

It's amazing what feasting on a particularly weak cupcake can do for the morale of a fanbase.

I couldn't agree more. Then you immediately followed up with:

Again, doesn't matter if it is MEMPHIS, we had almost more points than they had yards at that point.

We should be able to cover their rbs out of the backfield. Our corners aren’t what they use to be but this may be one of better groups of interior dbs.

They had a tough time getting Arizona’s QB on the ground when under pressure. His problem was that he just wouldn’t take the easy run yards and kept throwing bad passes on the move.

Daniels will take those opportunities, so it’s something to pay attention to. Arnett loves to blitz, but he will have to dial back the pressure to keep him in the pocket. It will be interesting to see how he gameplans this.

Just from watching their game against Arizona, it looks like they put good pressure on the opposing QB. The TV crew seemed to think that this was Leach's best defensive line since he has been there.

Just wondering if anyone has watched them or has any more analysis to put in?

Your analysis was comprehensive. No need for anyone else to opine.

Daniels will give them problems running and scrambling. Zona played two safeties and State dinked and doynked in first half. They're not hard to figure out, but you have to tackle well.
We win if we execute on D.

They're underrated by the media. Wouldn't surprise me to see them beat us by 2 TDs or more. Ain't no free wins in SEC anymore.
