I think that we would be fine. If those two freshmen got all the reps from day 1, they'd be up to speed. However, Emery is apparently far behind at this time. I don't wanna lose CEH now!

That's the play Burrow basically told Emery to get his arse out right haha. Do you remember what time in the game it was?

Clyde seems to be getting better as the season progresses.

Start of the 2nd quarter.

It appeared to me that the play was a screen and Emery did not know it. He was pass blocking when he shouldve chipped and the slipped out to the screen. The O- Line was out in front and then Joe told him to GTFO.

Emery is going to be really good in this offense but he needs to learn and develop more.

Give TDP credit for taking advantage of the opportunity. He looks solid and quick!

But....CEH is the MAN this year. He is a beast - shifty and strong. He is perfect for this offense and it is showing.

Doesn’t look like Curry will ever get any love

I like what I saw in Curry for the Vanderbilt game. He ran hard for positive yards. Hope he sees the field more and shines.

Well, CEH has another season of eligibility remaining. As such, it is possible that neither of the two freshmen become the feature back at LSU until 2021.

But physically, I'm not seeing where he is behind the other two backs.
Well, by just my eye test, I'm seeing that Emery is not as physically built as either back. As O has said, Emery needs to get stronger. His biggest issue IMO though is his decision making. He's gifted with his swiftness and his cuts. But that can only take you so far in D1 ball. He needs to continue to work on understanding the speed difference in the game. And as I said, he's doing a lot better. But IMO, Price is more ready because his strength and size advantage atm. I mean, Emery just came in this summer, right? He'll need some time, but he will be a stud very soon.

No disrespect to CEH, but I feel his role will not be as significant next year. Which is not saying a whole lot. Right now he's THE guy. And I think he gets drafted after next year. But don't be surprised if some of these younger guys start to emerge next year.

And I expect CEH’s role will be increased in 2020. Moving from Burrow to Brennan at QB, we will likely have to lean on the running game a little bit more.

Weird! As the line improves the running backs are more successful.

Have a feeling Curry could end up being a casualty to the transfer portal. He’s a really talented RB that I’m worried just isn’t gonna get the opportunities he’d have at 90% of other FBS schools
