Another reason why anything less than 10 wins would be a huge disappointment. LSU has the most conditioned team it’s had in 20 years, the best OC per orgeron and aranda. It’s gonna be a fun year.

Don't forget the best WR coach, the best OL coach in pro or college and the best OL, DL, WRs and LBs that LSU has had in years.

it’s true. Honestly anything short os an sec title would be unachieving with this group of players and coaches. I can’t wait to see a team more conditioned and coached better than the 2011 squad. Watch out baw it’s gonna be special

I like to kid around and give people shite, but this team really does have a chance to be special. There's just a lot of moving parts that have to come together the right way. I'm anxious to see if it can happen.

there are too many people right now that are so triggered by the fact that Orgeron is the coach that they refuse to believe anything good can possibly happen with anything related to the football program. They will literally spin absolutely anything into a negative. I don't even like Orgeron, but some people have completely lost their minds over him being the coach. It's also as if some people would rather see the program burn to the ground than us have a good season this year. And the sad part is it's more about them being proven right about Orgeron being bad than anything else.

You hit the nail on the head.

Moffit doesnt bullshite, he never has. He's very forthcoming in this interview about several things. The guys Chavis wanted for his defense, how their conditioning style has changed with technology, training for combine vs training for football.

He never says this is the best conditioned team he's ever had, unless I missed that direct quote, but i was listening for it. He simply said this team is ahead of the past teams with the conditioning drill.

Guys, Moffitt said this team is the first he’s had with this amount of guys passing by the end of June. He said nothing about the team being great. Nothing about having the best coaches. You guys took the one positive about the team in an interview and railed it. Truly remarkable fanship.

Edit: Lester, I think you are referring to his other interview. The one here from POG didn’t get into Chavis if I’m not mistaken. Could be wrong. They did get into Saban being more into conditioning than lifting though.

yep, and what's funny is he's been around since Saban was the coach. Yet, because Orgeron is the head coach currently, Moffitt's word apparently doesn't mean anything now. I agree, like you said, Moffitt doesn't bullshite and doesn't care about calling players out if it's the truth, so why would he now just start blowing smoke when he's never done that in the past?

I remember O saying Ensminger the best OC was here all along. So I trust O found the best OC in the country like he said he would do. I’ve seen coaches praise jerry Sullivan and I know our WRs will run impeccable routes. Cregg was great at usc and held papers for the o line coach on a Super Bowl team so I know the line will be solid. We comin

it's always comical that many of our (probably younger) fans' first reaction to anything that goes wrong is to fire someone. God help them once they get into the real world and discover that there are other possible solutions/remedies when things don't go as planned.

well, it should be a disappointment because Les was fired, and rightfully so, for not winning 10 games in B2B seasons and starting 2016 2-2. So if that is the expectations of the AD, then it shouldn't be ok for Orgeron to hover around 8 or 9 wins either. But I'm going to hope he can achieve just that this season and, hopefully, continue to get better. And if he doesn't, then we can address it at that time.

I bullshite a lot but this team is insanely talented. The defense should and will be nasty. The O has All the talent in the world. If it comes together it could be special.

When it comes to offseason hype, LSU football has not earned the benefit of the doubt. Prove it on the field and people will buy it.
