Blake Dean's 2008 season was his best, but 2009 certainly wasn't that far behind. I think you think it was a disappointment because he was in a major slump for the first half of the year.

i disagree. he came through clutch in a few games and was injured pretty much the whole season.

also, most of the people yall have listed here didn't have bad seasons personally, it was their teams' fault.
taz had a shitty team, etc
dickson and tolliver had shitty quarterbacks, etc

2008 was his sophomore season, and his best. 2009 was his junior season, and down from '08. 2010 was down from '09, and you are right, my recall might be skewed from his slow start. Even with good 2010 stats, 25% of his HR's and 10% of his RBI's came in the Bama series.

I'm not sure if he can play worse next year. Last year will be tough to beat. I'm not joking on this one. Sad but true. I'm glad college isn't like politics. He can't get re-elected for another 4 years..

Tommy Hodson

i believe this is the correct answer. 4-7 as a senior with expectations to be a Heisman candidate with great receivers and Harvey Williams in the backfield.

2nd String, that's rough... I know you wanted EJ to be a nightmare. Ken Hollis was ok... but nothing special.

Hodson had a decent senior season the Defense was bad and the oline was up and down. Receivers were okay Tony Moss and Alvin Lee, both kinda small and no real burners both more quick than fast. Neither was anywhere near Wendell Davis level.

Cant say that JJ fits the bill for most disappointing as I dont think many really think he will be better than mediocre and personally I dont feel he will reach that level.
