Kent St got knocked out of the MAC tourney, but they are a near lock for an at-large. That's going to take away a bubble spot because that should have been a one-bid league if Kent would have taken care of business.

D1baseball.com says Kent State is still alive. Today was only their first loss.

ahh, that's good news, hopefully they can come back and win it. That's what I get for half-arse reading twitter and not checking facts myself.

New Mexico 3 outs away from winning Moutain West Tourny!

We need TCU to force a game tommorow!

I am looking at the scoreboard and remaining teams. It's starting to make me sweat a little bit. I am thinking we still need a good amount of help, especially from Florida today.

New Mexico just beat TCU to get the automatic. One less spot left. All those who say we are in, don't get your hopes up too high

I don't see the SEC only getting 7 teams in. w/ Auburn being out I feel pretty confident about getting in. A Florida win n game 1 today will lock it up, IMO

It's far from as much of a lock as many are saying. We're a bubble team who didn't make our tourney. With each team that edges in, we drop a little more. We have been a horrible team at times this year. We closed out with a nice run against mostly horrible competition (save State). I think we'll get in. Lock? Hardly.

I might be off, but I'm estimating that even with the Tourney upsets (and a couple more), there are 5 spots remaining. Below are the teams that I don't have in.

NC St.
Oklahoma St.
Ole Miss
ETSU
Texas State (if they lose their CC)
Kansas St.
St. John's
Elon
Dallas Baptist
Nebraska
FAU

These are the teams we're fighting for a spot, IMO (1 of 5) against. Compare their resumes to ours. I like our chances.

I think they're still in. RPI is 49. As long as Florida International wins the tournament.

The Southland is a 2 bid league if Tex. State doesn't win the tournament. Southeastern isn't going to a regional but I think Texas State is in with an RPI of 40 and a regular season conference championship.

LSU should probably pull for Florida International to win the tournament on the off chance that the Sun Belt would sneak a 4th team in if UALR wins.

Terribly scary play! UF finally getting a chance to bat.

ETA: FAU has a shitty resume'. No way they're in over LSU. If they get in, they'll be the LAST in.
