Appogized for giving them the best season in over a decade? For winning an SEC title?
If Will Wade was coaching at Alabama, Florida, etc. this board would be DESTROYING him as a cheater. And screaming for his firing and being banned from college coaching forever.
But Wade is wearing purple and gold, so it'll all good.
It's really pathetic.

I’d tend to agree if F King and Alleva would have left the NCAA out of it.
My thought as well. Some of the verbiages was a bit demanding, but the minute the LSU BOS included the NCAA in the rescheduled meeting they fricked up.

frick our board of supervisors.

But everyone else is done at LSU and it will clean out the whole dept eventually
Am not opposed to hitting the reset button tbh. LSU's athletic programs appear to be succeeding in spite of leadership, instead of because of it.

Wade will sit down off the record and speak to the administration, get reinstated, and the Rant will explode with glee and take credit for it.
just watch.
just watch.

They clearly cannot let him coach right now. That does not leave many options for LSU.
quote:You used this earlier this week and got shite on because it's obvious he is willing to talk to LSU, just not the NCAA at this time. FFS. Have you ever been in an audit? You don't answer direct questions on the fly. No business works that way.
he's using the trial as an excuse not to speak(rightfully so). That is fine and understood. But you dont talk, you can't coach. Pretty simple.

It serves 2 purposes.
Wade is laying the ground work for suing LSU in the near future if exonerated.
The other possible benefit is that LSU actually caves and reinstates him because they are so weak. Then he gets his job back and has more power than the AD (essentially getting him fired).
It's a no lose play for Wade.

With all the back and forth in context, it reads like an ultimatum.
It is an ultimatum.

It is absolutely not clear. It is incumbent upon the LSU admin to state why.

Yes. Fire him with cause or re-instate him.
quote:
On top of that, he's yet to proclaim innocence
That can be done after the trial in NY.
quote:

It is the REASON he is not speaking on the manner now. But will later after the trial.

LSU needs to communicate the grounds upon for keeping him suspended.
Again, fire him or let him coach. That is LSU admin's path now.

Remind me to never hire you as an advocate in any capacity. You'd fold at the smallest sign of difficulty.
I want Will Wade to coach at LSU again. I feel the stalemate they are currently at, given the situation of Will Wade, is perfectly justifiable. This is a big picture thing. Him coaching right now is meaningless to me, and that is what you all are focusing on.
If Will Wade just once declared his innocence I would be more inclined to say "frick you LSU" at this given moment, but he hasn't. And I understand LSU's position, with Will Wade being an employee to their corporation. They have to cover their arse the same way Wade does. Until they can talk, flexing muscle as Wade is doing right here only hurts things.

Is there an email address or some way everyone can send a message to Joe Alleva to tell him to free Will Wade ASAP?

Lester has been spewing his 80 IQ stuff since this whole thing started. Stop trying to get through to him.
Like this. He isn't on trial or under investigation you slapdick retard.

I WILL RIDE INTO THE FIERY PITS OF HELL WITH YOU COACH WILL WADE!

Posted on 3/14/19 at 9:08 am to GumboPot
LSU has now put themselves in the position where every scenario is bad, and in pure LSU fashion, they have actually made it to where the worst thing for them from a PR and legal standpoint is for Wade to actually be vindicated or not caught cheating
fricking amazing

Lester Earl is actually James Williams, no doubt!

Agree.
You would think that LSU could have offered an alternative. Meet with us without NCAA presence. That could still be on the table. At least it's a counter offer to meet.
Employer: "Did you break any laws or commit any infractions?"
Employee: "I refuse to answer".
Employer: "You're suspended indefinitely"

Oh hell no. this whole mob victimization is the most entertaining thing that's happened here in months.
