Although it worked out (so far), a large portion of our fan base wanted Ed O because he talks like them and likes gumbo. It’s the reason Louisiana will always suck. People in Louisiana just want to be losers.

Good ole boy hires are typically unqualified and only hired because of the connection to the school. While Woody had connections, he was more than qualified for the job

Like I said, McDonnell would crawl to LSU and is begging for the job. Would love to see what he could do here with LSU talent. Bianco would be a Joe Alleva hire. Very lazy

With Scott Woodward's reputation for making the big time hires and LSU's baseball tradition, I couldn't fathom it being anything close to an underwhelming hire, but nothing is surprising these days
With that being said I'm hoping for McDonnell!!
