No way Jay sinks the ship this year over his unwavering love for Pearson.
He’s started 5 of the 8 games. His batting average is .214 against rag arms. Brown, Larson, and Frey are all hitting at least anywhere from .100 to .160 points better than he is. We know Jay is going to play Pearson no matter what. We might as well cheer for him and hope for the best.

Frey .385
He’s also 2nd in RBIs behind Larson.
The only guy i think is starting to pull away is Larson. He’s hitting well, he’s drawing walks getting runners in.
Frey is a righty so he will continue to feature in right handed lineups
