Some of y’all admit to not knowing shite, but at the same time are convinced you know it all. It’s really strange

Unfortunate for Nick, I thought he did a great job in his role
Interested to see who they get to replace him
How do you know how he did?
I'm not saying he didn't do a good job, just interested to know how someone would grade his performance.

Just because Jacques says he was blindsided doesn’t mean he was. I’m sure there’s more to it.

There is more to this story than written here.

There’s usually not an incident that leads to budget cut firings
A lot of bloated ADs out there will have to trim fat with revenue sharing looming, being a former player doesn’t make you immune to it

Moscona made several vague comments about something happening.

Is he implying that Hurley being in this accident had something to do with the staff?

Did he have a roofing incident?

Weird. Normally unless there was an issue they find another gig before this is done to help them further their career and save face. To let them go isn’t a great look for anyone. So either they weren’t doing a good job or the position was fluff anyway.

No idea. But seemed to imply there was a reason Stevens and Brosette were let go

Sorry to see this happen for whatever reason. Brosette was the earlier version of Nussmier. He was a talented back playing behind Fournette and Guice, waited his turn and had a great senior season sharing time with Clyde. Too bad that 2018 was his senior season and he missed the championship run, but he was part of the group which laid the foundation.

Say what now? He was NO WHERE NEAR as talented and those other backs
Some people on this site are so fricking stupid. Where in his post did he say anything close to “Brossette was as talented as Guice and Fournette”? :lol
Brossette was an awesome Tiger. Could’ve gone anywhere out of HS obviously. Stayed loyal to LSU through some early ups and downs behind studs as mentioned in the post. Ran for over 1000 yards and I think 14 tds his sr year on the 18 team that helped propel us into the 19 title season. Nothing but love for that guy. Was certainly not Fournette or Guice but was a great Tiger. I am sure he will find success wherever he ends up

Does it really matter? It's not a coaching roll. We don't have to know every reason people are brought in or let go.

Timing of it seems weird if he was let go today…
_______
Why do you think this? Seems like a normal time for staff adjustments.

Don't know anything about how Nice was performing and wish him well going forward.
Wonder if the Honey Badger would consider this position? It could be his intro into getting into coaching.
