So many complaints, so what is LSU’s policy? Often hear this complaint, but is LSU really substantially different from its peers?

No. It’s all bullshite. It’s an urban legend. A Rant meme.

That has nothing to do with anything that was said.

Yea, the weed difference at LSU is an urban legion...that is why the OT went to Kentucky & the DB's to Alabama. OK, lets go with that BS. All I want is a level playing field. I don't want an advantage, but I don't want to give quarters either.

It’s a sad day in society when you have to rewrite drug policies to keep players eligible.

Scott Woodward isn’t going to allow his new football coach hire to be hamstrung by over zealous compliance…this isn’t going to be a concern anymore. Obviously there has to be some lines that can’t be crossed but the days of a few weed test pops sending starters to SEC rivals are finished IMO.

Tate will back him on it too.

I’m just saying, everyone’s main point for bringing him in is to change the culture and discipline of our team. Now we want him to take down the compliance department and let the players smoke weed lol pick a side

Exactly. There are RULES follow them or leave. It is REALLY simple. People act like EVERYBODY in sports does weed. That simply isn’t true.

1. It should be legal 2. We should easy up on testing 3. Recreational marijuana is 21+ in most states anyways, so most players shouldn't be smoking.... but then again so is alcohol and you don't see any collegiate athletes getting random BAC checks.

Can you call my boss and convince him of this? He seems to think not being high around machinery, forklifts, 18 wheelers, and company vehicles is probably safer and less of a liability on the company he owns.

Just because it’s legal, doesn’t mean LSU has to allow it.

Makes the process less complicated. It is hard to go soft on a Schedule I narcotic that is illegal in your state. It is easier to go soft on a drug that is legalized in your state and you are just flexing state power.

Bo Bahnsen, the head of compliance, needs to retire. 39 years in the athletics dept is long enough.

Louisiana has the same marijuana laws as Alabama, so LSU's policy should be the same as Bama's policy, period.

Come on Scott, its time to level the playing field.

Kelly is not the coach to be lenient on weed lmao

Well it won't be the 1st time a old-fashioned conservative coach has to swallow his bullshite and get with the times to remain competitive...

Hey, remember when football coaches were against:
Integration?
Pass-happy offenses?
Ear-rings?
Hair sticking out of helmets?
Dreadlocks?
Smoking weed?

...Adapt or die.
