So, LSU essentially finished 6th in the SEC this year?

One first down in with 1:30 to go against Alabama is the difference between a potential SEC title and a BCS championship and a 6th place finish in the SEC and a trip to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. Wow.

Although, I think we would have lost to Georgia the way we've been playing. But, you never know.

I know but it sucks that some big east team and probably oklahoma get to go to a bcs game when we are so much more deserving. Now we're probably going to head to the chic fila bowl is such a joke. I'm proud of the team this year and they deserve a better bowl/opponent.

Any chance Bama gets bumped down to the chicken bowl? A/M has a better chance at cotton, putting Bama in Cap1 I would think though.

I have a problem with Florida going to a BCS bowl over Georgia, or even Bama for that matter. The division winners shouldn't be snubbed by the BCS for a team that couldn't win their division, especially if they lost to the division winner. Doesn't seem fair IMO.

I think one thing keeps Georgia out. Marc Richt. The guy is the SEC version of Bob Stoops. He will screw it up. LSU to Chicken Bowl.

nonthing you can do about the SEC loser situation

the loser of the SEC title game will have 2 losses, UF will be number 3 with 1 loss, no way florida doesn't go to a BCS bowl game.

We went to the Sugar Bowl in 06 and beat ND when we didn't win the division. I think Arkansas won it that year and in essence you can say Florida did win the division but have a share of the east with UGA.

Why are we looking at the Peach Bowl as a lesser bowl than the Outback? It's not...they choose first. South Carolina will be the most screwed team on the list going there. They skull-fricked UGA, who, IMO, is a pathetic representative and got schedule-lucky, again.
