I think we will get another pitcher or 2 from the portal, but, i also dont think our pitching need is as dire as most here do, if we get labas, hilliard, and fontenot back

Thanks Adam. So far I think all of the guys drafted through Round Three will sign professional contracts.
I also believe Coach Johnson has some real plans in contingency other potential players coming in for this situation. No inside information here, just a trust in his work ethic and the strides he has made just since taking the job.

Not surprised. He never played high school ball because of Iowa’s weird season. They seem to have always been focused on the direct jump.

Expected, sure, but strange things happen sometimes, and so there is always a chance until you see their names go off the board early. There was more hope with Selvidge.
And I'm including a couple Arizona guys who possibly could have been portal targets who just got drafted. It's not that it's shocking, it's just that it's not breaking our way so far.

Are we expecting to get all 3? Would be great if we did. Would still need a young kid or a portal player to step up big time.

How does them being drafted mean I was reading too much into it? I didn't say they were all coming to LSU, and this doesn't change anything to do with the reason they entered the portal. If those guys hadn't been drafted so high, who knows where they would have gone?
