Ok. I understand what you are saying. I think you and I just have different expectations of what people are going to discuss on message boards. I don't expect people to necessarily have reasonable opinions or make fact based arguments. Especially as it relates to a football team that they are fans of. Fans are going to be all over the board on that sort of thing! And message boards allow people to express those varying opinions. Geaux Tigers!

Their confidence in their defense is wild.
Apparently giving up 37 to Ole Miss makes us vulnerable but giving up 48 to Kansas State isn’t anything to worry about.
We’re the best offense they’ve seen by almost 14 PPG. And we’re the second best defense they’ve faced.

OU fans I have spoken with know LSU is loaded. They hope to win but know OU has a tough row to hoe and will need LSU to play a bad game.

All that I know is that my son graduated from OU in Spring after LSU beat them in the BCS.
I had to laugh because my wife (his step mom) sent a care package to him for Christmas and because she knows nothing about sports and figured as a guy he would like sports stuff, loaded him up with LSU Tigers shirts of all types.
He called me a groaned like a little Sooner would. I laughed my arse off.
