Looking at what LK has done on offense cant be denied. Last two years on offense he was first in passing and 5th in rushing. BB defense will be incredible playing with a lead. The d line coach was an absolute home run. The D line class is amazing. I don't see how big things aren't on the horizon

Remember in 2024 I think, Lane had like a top five defense and his offense. And they lost to Kentucky.

Well if we are being honest, it was a one horse race.
Hell, its football, one or more of the other hires might end up being the better decision in hindsight, who knows? But, no offense to Sumrall and the other coordinator hires, not one team needing a coach wouldve passed on Kiffin.

Totally agree ! Let’s win the games we are supposed to win , be competitive in any losses , and pull 1-2 major upsets ! We should never get boat raced at home by ATM!

Fair or unfair to the new HC, but the fact that BK ran his fricking mouth so liberally last season about "winning a championship" Im firmly in a say less, do more frame of mind for now.

There are indeed many valid reasons to be excited, optimistic about LSU competing, winning titles again soon! In addition to our #1 new coach, stellar staff & incredible recruits......there is another tremendous advantage, enormously important reason to be ecstatic about. One that no one has mentioned yet but will definitely be returning in 2026!
No other Coach in College Football is as dynamic or exciting as Kiffen. He is Hands Down the #1 Coach. So is U High recruit "Lamar" who is the #1 Player & Athlete in the Nation! But LSU is retaining another #1 spot (which is perhaps greater than any/all of the other assets combined) that we are not only keeping, but that we fricking OWN!
And that is:
TIGER FANS + TIGER STADIUM = InFANtesimally Important!!
In Kiffen's introductory press conference he specifically mentioned LSU Fans & Tiger Stadium being a HUGE Burden and/or Advantage!
Kiffen has experienced it. He Believes & Thinks He Knows just how Powerful that Passion/Emotion/Energy/Noise that is generated by Tiger Fans & comes Pounding Down upon the Players/Coaches on the Field.
But Kiffen really has NO IDEA!! And I believe Lane Kiffen is the precise/exact person, coach that is going to bring, cause & extract that Legendary, Inarguable #1 Stadium Environment in the History of Sporting Events/Competition is the World - Ever!!
IT IS A MASSIVE ADVANTAGE!! AND LSU HAS IT - WE OWN IT!!
Say what you want, believe what you may. But unlike anything, anyone or anywhere else on the Planet......LSU FANS & TIGER STADIUM have many times before, and can at any time/moment in the future......literally & actually CAUSE, CREATE & WILL A WIN!!

You have this completely backwards. If he’s not winning big, then Bama will pass him by (and LSU will likely fire him).
They’re not going to be poaching LSU’s “doing okay but not really winning big” coach. CLK winning big is when you have to start worrying.
