I highly doubt that LSU takes anyone lightly the rest of this year. The Troy loss still looms in their minds and they may lose more games but I doubt it will be from lack of effort by players and staff.

Is Shea Patterson really better than Jarrett Stidham?

I expect Aranda to have a game plan similar to the one he had for Louisville. That worked out pretty well.

Diver you are fake news. Ole Piss paid for talent and stil could not get it done unless you say they had no emotion.

Real news, Ole Miss defense is terrible and we can score well on them, ole piss offense is one dimensional and our D is stout.

History: Defense always wins. Isn't this right big 12?

My worry is a letdown. Just had two big arse wins in a row with a bye and Bama on the horizon. Focus will be a precious commodity.

The dam let down games. I agree. It follows the recipe. But O had some payback I think the players will respond to re: Ole Piss.

I agree about OM passing game but they've always seemed to be able to run up and down until the get to the 20-15 yard line and then field shortens and they bog down

THIS!

Shea Patterson to AJ Brown will hurt us, if we don't pressure the QB and contain WRs coming off the line of scrimmage.

Patterson could pose many problems to the Tiger defense, but the Ole Miss defense is not exactly overwhelming its opponents.

It is usually tough to win on the road in the SEC. I hope LSU is ready to play.

Ole Miss beat South Alabama 47-27 and gave up 374 yards (170 rushing)
Ole Miss beat UT Martin 45-23 and gave up 334 yards (219 rushing)
Ole Miss lost to Cal 27-16 and gave up 399 yards (163 rushing)
Ole Miss lost to Bama 66-3 and gave up 613 yards (365 rushing)
Ole Miss lost to Auburn 44-23 and gave up 561 yards (326 rushing)
Ole Miss beat Vanderbilt 57-35 and gave up 417 yards (188 rushing)

Not overly concerned with the Ole Miss defense. Canada is going to have fun this week.

+1

The combination of LSU's excellent man coverage and a healthy pass rush should do the trick. They also need to keep Patterson in the pocket. He can scramble and make plays with his legs too. It will be a stiff test for us. Ole Miss will come to play, and the home team has won the last five games in the series.

One worry I have is that we are still the team that lost to Troy.

Depending what LSU team shows up, this could be big win or an ugly loss.

OM is very good at thwarting moderate LSU success. That's where we are now.

Going into an off-week then Bama with these pissants on the road is the ultimate trap.

OM scores 50 ppg at home (bad competition) and 19 on the road (better competition). They aren't scoring 50 this weekend but we've got to set the tone.

No they're not. Ole Missy almost always puts up a good fight.
