If you keep it PG rated, their site has some good posters, and a lot less trolls... I'm having quite a good debate with them at the moment, and it's really fun

I feel like you when it comes to a lot of the LSU fans that post on here. We have many loud mouths. We have many who get offended by the slightest slight. We have many who think that everything they post on this site is hilarious (I can see them giggling to themselves after they press 'send'.)

Take heart. Oregon State is deserving of the record it has this year. Only ignorant people actually think that your conference - which has Arizona, UCLA, USC and Stanford - is weak.

ohh boo hoo this dude sexually assaulted a 6 year old. He deserves shite for the rest of his life for it. I haven't read one child rape joke on here. Maybe making fun of the dude himself but not a child rape joke.

Nobody is going out of their way to screw this kid over. Part of his sentence is to register as a sex offender. I don't know anything about what the requirements are for sex offenders other than what the local news stations out of Portland are reporting. I live just north of Portland and the news outlets are saying that the kid has to register every year around his birthday with the police in whatever city he is residing in.

He failed to do that this year and that's why it has become a story. The young man screwed up and it's all on him.

Since 2000, the PAC12 has made the CWS finals 9 times, winning 4. The SEC has made it 11 times, winning 5.

If you only want to go back 10 years, the PAC12 has made the finals 5 times, winning 3. The SEC made the finals 8 times, winning 4.

Total domination by the SEC (rolling eyes)

Tell me again why the previous 10-15 years matter when talking about the Pac 12 being weak this season? One pac 12 team won the regional they played in. 6 teams from the SEC won their regional. Nobody is talking about the past. We know the Pac 12 was an amazing college baseball conference winning 23 of its 28 national championships prior to 1988. We can manipulate the past too. Since 1988 LSU has six baseball national championships and the Pac 12 has five. That doesn't have anything to do with this season..

No one is retrying him. He's marked as a sex offender. His consequences don't end with merely satisfying the court.

Apparently we don't ask anywhere along the way, nor does the Athletic Dept

Who would think to ask about that?

Yeah. Couldn't see the stands on the other side of the field from where I was. Super heavy.

Better question would be what made you sign up for this website in the first place?

ETA - Just saw your answer in your other post. Hard to believe that game was in 2004...but I was there.

What if they did ask?
The kid has been thru the legal system. Except from staying registered and abiding by the restrictions placed on sex offenders, there is nothing a school can do.

You obviously haven't been listening to the same sports talk shows I have.
Some of them have been rather ridiculous. They are acting like he hasn't been to trial and these are new charges.
What he did is terribly wrong, he may have deserved more punishment than he got.
But all that is done.

He sure as frick doesn't deserve to play baseball anymore, that's for sure.

ETA: he shouldn't have been on OSUs team to start with.

Say he was pitching at McNeese, what grounds could the school kick him off the Team?
I'm talking about legal grounds, not personal opinions.

Conduct unbecoming. Pedophile is not a protected class, so they could kick him off the team for whatever reason. I'd hope the administration wouldn't tolerate enrolling and playing a predator in the first place.

Apparently they think LSU plays a soft conference schedule an never get tested during regular season

It's interesting that the SEC has 3 teams in the CWS.......
