Granted O has hiring issues. He will fix it or he will be Dinardo II. But this season is a shite show practice year anyway. Let the freshmen QBs play and we’ll be in good shape for 2021.

We had a great recruiting class... none of the transfers were coming here to compete with a Brennan

Maybe the Pelini hire was a mistake. But it was not out of complacency.

More likely lack of spring ball with so many new starters.

Imagine that you're just as horrible on the rant as you are the recruiting board

You say that but realize that’s he’s really only hired 2 good coaches from about 10 or so he’s brought in — Brady and McMahon

I don't know how many good coaches he's hired, but it was enough to post the greatest season of all time.

He has let the team unravel. One wonders about his leadership.

He hoped Brennan would be good,

He is. His stat line with a worse team is up there with burrows, outside of the completion percentage and red zone. Yardage and touchdowns are pretty high through 3 games.

and left no backup plan.

What? We are about to see the "backup plan". This is college ball, not pros. He can't pay players to ride the bench. He recruits what he can. We have 2, 4 stars on the bench, and one of them was pretty good in high school. How is that any different than any other team? What is Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State's "backup plan" if their starter is knocked out?

This is a stupid thing to get worked up over. Bad take.

Reminds me of Mal-Veto decision by Miles when he was fat & comfortable in '08

Wait, so you are bashing Brennan because of defense? Collect your thoughts and try again.

Instead of aggressively building a dynasty

Again, college ball. Kids and coaches can freely do what they want. Many seniors and juniors who were obviously ready for the next level, moved on. Solidifying the moniker of NFLU.

Ah, ok. You are one of the Never-O's that bitched about the Orgeron hire up until we won the natty last year and are just bitter your predictions were wrong.

How has the team unraveled? Have you watched the games? Historically awful defense.

I thought he had experienced quarterbacks? Oh, wait, he did and they transferred.
Replacing DC and passing game coordinator, installing their vision without spring practice and summer player directed workouts has been key.
We lost everyone last year and Chase opted out.
Brennan has performed better than most expected. He just needed more game reps. Played 3 quarters with a torn stomach muscle. Get off his arse.
O has NOT lost his fire. O is STILL recruiting like a beast.
You whiners sound like a bunch of Gumps.

I agree he got complacent after the NC but it has nothing to do w the QB situation.

And his biggest mistake was hiring Pelini.

Anyone who continues to think this start is because of quarterback play needs to hand in their fan card.

For any sport.

OSU: Braxton Miller, JT Barrett, Cardale Jones... won natty with 3rd string QB.

JT Barrett, Dwayne Haskins, Joe Burrow.

Fields, CJ Stroud, Jack Miller this year... Maybe we can get Miller or Stroud because one of them will transfer.
