there were free spots open under the overpasses less than an hour before yesterday's game, which probably had a lot more cars going to it. I have never seen anyone collecting money there either

So what would be the best place to try to park and leave your car overnight?

for the nfc championship game which was a huge crowd i parked around Lucys. paid $20. Canal Place is not bad, also if you want easy access to the dome park around University Hospital which will be about $15.

Like off Loyola Dr.under the overpass if there early enough, also by Galvez and Poydras under the structure.

We prepaid a reserved spot likewise for our kids making their first solo trek to Nola and a big time super dome event. Justified it for the peace of mind and lots cheaper than we would have spent on more tickets...which we couldn't get anyway. (darn you TAF!) what a moment to be an LSU freshman!

My friends work at the Marriotts around downtown, the projects to be over 8000 parking spots short for the game. If you can don't chance waiting to find somewhere close.

On poydras Between Claiborne Ave and S.Galvez.

Google map it. It's on the side of the Dome opposite of downtown.

95% of the parking is free. And you can leave your car there as long as you want.

Check out parkwhiz.com I got a space right across from the dome on Perdido. You can reserve a spot in a garage for $46, just print your reservation from home. They still have spaces available for tomorrow with multiple locations surrounding the dome.

not a bad deal. Parking in Br went through the roof this year for paid spots. Some terd wanted $60 bucks to park off of State St

Rest assured that the New Orleans tow trucks and meter maids will be out in force.

I parked at Canal Place in 03 & 07. It's a walk, but if you plan to head towards the Quarter before heading home, it's good to have the ride close by.

I'm already downtown. The lots have jacked up parking to $40-$45 a day and the ones i've seen are pretty full.

I got the last spot at my hotel by squeezing my truck into a compact spot.

Parking under the Interstate is always an option. Park anywhere you can find and plan on walking. I would get here EARLY!
