I remember when they were tearing down the West Upper and people started taking the seats that we’re just left out. They wised up quick and started selling them to make money.

[Pic] Old Tiger Stadium TV Graveyard by WPsportsman
I’m very suprised they didn’t market these as “a piece of tiger stadium history you must have” and auction them off. They would make a good conversation piece in someone’s man cave or gameroom
"Yeah these used to be in tiger stadium. I remember standing in line for my $87 worth of nachos and coke only to look over at these TVs and there'd be nothing playing on them. In the background, I could hear the crowd cheering after D'Byrd's catch against Auburn in the final seconds. Ah good memories"

And we loved them. Still do. Did it really matter when you mistakenly went to the concession’s because your woman needed a coke and you missed a big play? I knew what happened based on crowd noise and that drunk guy running down the ramp alone.

Zenith TVs
*gasp* those in the lower levels were more likely Philco and Curtis Mathes. Whatever, they all were analogues and thus functionally inoperable.
Good riddance. They should be cremated.

why were you not in your seat with only seconds left in a one score game?

Good news is you don’t have to worry about that now. They’d be out of cokes to get by the first quarter.

We were expecting a time out then a FG attempt. Who would have thought Miles would lose his mind at such a crucial point in the game

I still can't believe those things were being used up until now. I was astounded every time I went to the stadium and saw those things.

It's actually not a small task to get rid of that many CRTs from a waste disposal perspective.
A can of diesel and a match says otherwise.
